As a social enterprise, we are committed to reinvesting a portion of our profits back into the vitiligo community. This includes funding further research into holistic treatments and supporting initiatives that raise awareness and provide assistance to those who need it most.

My Story

Hi, I’m Yogeeta, the founder of Better Vitiligo, and I want to share a bit about my story.

I was born in Fiji and, at the age of 18, I moved to New Zealand on a scholarship to pursue my studies. After earning my Chartered Accountancy qualification, I went on to open my own accounting practice. Later, I completed my MBA, which gave me the tools to expand my business and explore new ventures.

Over ten years ago, I was diagnosed with vitiligo. At first, it was overwhelming—emotionally and physically—but over time, I realized that healing is about much more than just skin. It’s about taking care of your entire self—your mind, body, and soul. Since then, I’ve been on a journey to embrace my vitiligo and live a healthier, more balanced life.

Today, I’m sailing around the world, exploring different cultures and learning about ancient and traditional remedies for vitiligo. From Indonesia to other parts of the globe, I’m discovering new ways to support my health naturally, and I’m excited to share these discoveries with the Better Vitiligo community.
